Visitor registration is open for Composites Future 2026, a new event dedicated to composite materials taking place in Fiera Milano-Rho, Italy, on 9-12 June.
This exhibition and conference is a collaboration between EuCIA member Assocompositi – the Italian association for composite materials, Xylexpo – International biennial exhibition of wood and furniture industry technology, and Plast – International Exhibition for the Industry of Plastics and Rubber. Registration is free until 29th May and also grants access to the Xylexpo and Plast exhibitions, which are running concurrently.
During Composites Future, Assocompositi is hosting the Composites Future Academy in Hall 18. This three-day free educational project is designed to showcase the value and potential of composite materials across various industrial sectors. From design and industrial production to advanced quality control, the programme guides participants through the entire value chain, offering an opportunity to enhance skills and tackle high-performance composite challenges with innovative tools.
Morning educational sessions
Technical seminars will be led by industry experts and professionals, dedicated to the latest innovations in composites. The three days will focus on the following themes.
June 10: Technologies for Composite Materials – presentations by Politecnico di Milano, University of Salento, Airtech Europe, CMS.
June 11: Applications in Automotive, Marine, Construction, and Aerospace – presentations by University of Padua, White Lab, Mapei, Coexpair.
June 12: Sustainability and Recycling Technologies – presentations by Politecnico di Milano, Top Glass, CIT Toray, CETMA.
Afternoon practical demonstrations
Activities focused on different processing methods will be hosted in a dedicated Demo Area. This space will feature machinery representative of the entire supply chain: cutting, milling, machining centres, tooling, painting, infusion, moulding, additive manufacturing, testing, and production with recycled composites.
Companies featured in the Demo Area include: ACME Servizi, Airtech Europe, CIT Toray, CMS, Cosmec Technology, Costa Levigatrici, Fimal, Fkgroup, Freud, Gees Recycling, Gibitre, Greda, HERA Ambiente, Mapei, Mates Italiana, Noselab, OMC Presse, Spherecube, Top Glass, Vision Engineering, White Lab.
