The European Circular Composites Alliance (ECCA)’s Design for Circularity group is compiling a Design for Circularity directory.
The short-term purpose of the Design for Circularity directory is to assist designers of composite products identify people and organisations with the knowledge and skills to help them realise designs with improved circularity.
In the longer term, the goal would be a significant increase in the circularity of the composite products produced in Europe, and possibly further afield. Additional benefits may be growth in the Design for Circularity consultancy sector thanks to the improved visibility for the experts and organisations appearing in the directory.
The directory aims to include a range of members, from independent experts through to private companies and academia. We are also looking to attract people who may not necessarily see themselves as Design for Circularity experts, but whose insight may nonetheless be of immense value to designers. In this category we would hope to include composites recyclers and manufacturers that already use recycled products.
