The European Circular Composites Alliance (ECCA) was presented at the meeting From Recyclable to Reliable: Scaling Circular Thermoplastic Composites.

This cross-border expert event in Genk, Belgium, on 12th February was organised by EuCIA member Agoria, together with R&D partner Brightlands Material Center, the Netherlands, and Belgian technological innovation centre Sirris. Designed to bring together industry leaders, technology providers, researchers and end-users from Belgium, the Netherlands, and beyond, it provided a forum to exchange insights on thermoplastic composites recycling and discuss ways to strengthen the circular composites ecosystem.

Thomas Wegman, EuCIA board member and Vice-Chair of the ECCA Road Vehicles and Public Transportation Working Group, presented the alliance’s objectives and progress to date. A brainstorming session exploring how ECCA can create impact yielded valuable feedback to inform future activities.

ECCA is a sectorial alliance of EuCIA. Now boasting more than 200 members, ECCA is uniting organisations from across Europe to develop circular solutions for composites. Join us!
