EUCIA is leading the communication and dissemination activities for the EU-funded EOLIAN project, and we’re pleased to announce the official launch of the project’s website.
EOLIAN is aiming to develop a new generation of wind turbine blades manufactured using repairable and recyclable vitrimer composites. An embedded structural health monitoring system will enable fast detection and repair of damage.
EOLIAN blades will offer improvements in lifespan, repair, and reuse and recycling, helping to advance sustainability and circularity in the wind industry.
In EOLIAN, EuCIA joins partners Proplast (project coordinator), AEP Polymers, Brunel Composites Centre (BCC), Entelea, IRES, Norvento Enerxía, Politecnico di Milano, Tekniker, and Zorlu Energy Group.
EuCIA leads the work package focused on communication, dissemination and exploitation and we look forward to sharing more project news over the coming months.
