EuCIA joined its partners in the EU-funded REFRESH blade recycling project in Italy on 21-22 January.
This project is developing a smart, circular concept for recycling composite materials from end-of-service wind turbine blades. EuCIA is leading the project’s communication and dissemination activities.
This General Assembly was hosted by CETMA at its research centre in Brindisi. The first day featured updates on active work packages and discussion of plans for the coming months. On the second day, EuCIA arranged for the project team visited the Vestas site in Taranto. This was an amazing opportunity to tour the company’s blade production facilities. We thank Domenico Cannatà and the Vestas team for their great welcome!
