EuCIA’s managing director Raphaël Pleynet will join a session on composites recycling during the blue innovation dock programme at this month’s boot Düsseldorf watersports trade show.
The blue innovation dock, organised by boot Düsseldorf and the European Boating Industry (EBI), is a leading platform for political decision-makers, industry, innovators and water sports enthusiasts to shape the future of the maritime industry.
From Waste to Resource: New Approaches in Composite Recycling on 22 January, 15:15-15:45, Hall 10, features a panel discussion exploring ways of turning composites waste into a valuable resource. Participants will discuss new recycling pathways, industrial collaboration, and how cross-sector innovation can support more circular material flows.
The speakers are:
- Raphaël Pleynet, EuCIA;
- Justine Beauson, Technical University of Denmark;
- Marcello Colledani, Politecnico di Milano;
- Wolfgang Ouvry, Geocycle;
- Jarkko Pajusalo, Finnish Marine Industries Federation – Finnboat.
The session will be moderated by journalist Kristin Recke.
During the debate, we’ll present our new initiative to drive circularity across Europe, the European Circular Composites Alliance (ECCA).
