EuCIA was invited to participate in Composites Lounge’s JEC World 2026 Warm-Up Session on 25th February.
This LinkedIn Live discussion, led by Ilkay Özkisaoglu, explored some of the highlights of this year’s show with Eric Pierrejean, CEO of JEC, from established programmes such as the Innovation Awards and Startup Booster competition, to new initiatives such as the Circularity Village. Guest speakers shared their JEC experiences and plans for 2026.
EuCIA’s president Professor Roberto Frassine spoke about the European Circular Composites Alliance’s work and plans for the future. He emphasised EuCIA’s ongoing dialogue with the European Commission and the importance of monitoring upcoming initiatives to make sure composites are fairly treated. The End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) directive, Circular Economy Act, and new Digital Product Passport are three key areas of focus for the composites industry.
Malcolm Forsyth, Sustainability Manager at Composites UK (a member of EuCIA), also took part in the LinkedIn session.
