The Composites Recycling Study prepared by EuCIA member AVK in collaboration with IKK – Institute of Plastics and Circular Economy, Leibniz University Hanover, will be available in English by the end of 2023. Orders can be placed now.
The study provides an overview of current progress in recycling of composites and was prepared by IKK’s Director Prof. Hans-Josef Endres and Dr. Madina Shamsuyeva with the support of industry representatives from the AVK Expert Working Group. It was published in German at the beginning of 2023.
The study is intended to offer a systematic and comprehensive overview of composites waste volumes generated, the solutions for recycling that are currently available and those that could be implemented in the future. The advantages and disadvantages of the various processes are evaluated and relevant legal requirements and standards considered.
The study is available from AVK in pdf format for €799 (plus VAT), or €399 (plus VAT) for AVK and Composites United members.
