The North American Pultrusion Conference 2025, hosted by the American Composites Manufacturers Association in partnership with EuCIA member the European Pultrusion Technology Association (EPTA), provided a forum to share insights, innovations and case studies in pultruded composites.

During the event in Chicago on 6-8 May, we were expertly represented by Eric Moussiaux, a member of the EuCIA board and Sustainability Working Group. His presentation explored EuCIA’s role in advancing composites sustainability and circularity and introduced our latest initiative the European Circular Composites Alliance (ECCA).

Dr Elmar Witten, EPTA’s Managing Director and a EuCIA board member, also spoke during the conference. His presentation discussed trends in the European pultrusion market and the growing emphasis on sustainability and recycling within the sector.

We thank ACMA and EPTA for inviting us to participate in this excellent event, a valuable opportunity to emphasise cooperation on common interests such as design codes, standardisation, sustainability and circularity.
