EuCIA is presenting its recently-updated vision and strategy on composites sustainability to a North American audience for the first time during SAMPE 2024. This leading North American event dedicated to advanced materials and processes takes place in Long Beach, California, on 20-23 May.

​Eric Moussiaux, Vice President Technology, Exel Composites, and EuCIA Board Member, is highlighted as one of six SAMPE 2024 Featured Speakers. His presentation Composites Sustainability: The EuCIA Perspective is scheduled for Tuesday 21st May, at 1:00-1:45 pm.

EuCIA has been at the forefront of European composites sustainability work and will be even more so in the future. The presentation will provide a perspective of the many facets of composites sustainability and circularity. It will highlight EuCIA’s activities, present and future in this domain, and will emphasise the need for clear and consistent communication and cross-sector collaboration.

Eric will also give a presentation about EN TS 191010: The future Eurocode for composites on Wednesday 22nd May at 9:30-9:55 am.

The annual Society for Advancement of Materials and Process Engineering (SAMPE) conference and exhibition brings together leading companies, executives, engineers, scientists, students and professionals from the advanced materials and processes ecosystem.
