To launch this year’s Composites Sustainability Report, JEC has published a webinar exploring the themes of composites sustainability and circularity. EuCIA’s President and Managing Director, Roberto Frassine and Raphael Pleynet, were invited to take part.
In this first episode of JEC TV Focus, a new series of interviews with composites industry leaders, EuCIA joins two of the report’s other contributors: Petra Inghelbrecht, Sustainability Leader EU Composites at Owens Corning; and Kerryn Caulfield, Executive Director at Composites Australia. Alexandre Guillet, JEC’s Content Director, asks the questions.
The speakers discuss the report’s aims, their organisation’s perspective of composites sustainability, the importance of greater circularity, and the challenges of developing end-of-life solutions for composites and markets for recycled materials. All the participants highlight the progress already being made agreed globally and agree on the need to work together to make further advances possible.
This is the second year that EuCIA has partnered with JEC on the Composites Sustainability Report, which is available as a special issue of JEC Composites Magazine.
