RECOMP, organised by EuCIA member Composites UK, is dedicated to communicating and accelerating progress in the circularity of composite materials across the UK and beyond.
The conference takes place on 26th November at AMRC’s Knowledge Transfer Centre (KTC) in Rotherham.
The event aims to bring together leading organisations, researchers and innovators from across the composites value chain. It will highlight real-world solutions, recent commercialisation progress, and new technologies driving the shift towards a more circular composites industry.
EuCIA will discuss the European Circular Composites Alliance (ECCA) in a presentation offering insight into ECCA’s goals, structure, and progress in advancing circularity across Europe.
“We’re starting to see a real step change in how the UK composites industry approaches circularity,” says Malcolm Forsyth, Sustainability Manager at Composites UK. “RECOMP provides a vital platform to share progress, showcase innovation, and connect the dots between research and development of recycling technology, and industrial adoption. Collaboration across the supply chain and stimulating end-user demand remain key to unlocking a truly circular future for composites.”
