The second edition of the SMCCreate conference organised by EuCIA members AVK and the European Alliance for SMC BMC takes place in Prague, Czech Republic, on 7-8 November 2023. The conference programme is now available and registration for the event is open.
SMC and BMC are composite materials which are ideal for manufacturing lightweight, intricate parts that combine structural performance with a smooth surface finish. They are increasingly used in broad range of applications and markets. SMCCreate 2023 will cover a range of subjects relevant to designers needing to select materials that provide performance, cost efficiency, manufacturing ability and sustainability. Conference participants can expect presentations from companies including Airbus, AOC, BYK-Chemie, Dieffenbacher, EBG Group, ESI Germany, Fraunhofer, IDI, Mitras, Netzsch, Owens Corning, Siemens, and Teijin.
