EuCIA is hosting a webinar highlighting cement co-processing as a sustainable solution for managing end-of-life (EoL) composites.
This will present the results of the recently-published life cycle assessment (LCA) report confirming the positive environmental impact of co-processing EoL glass fibre reinforced thermoset composites in cement facilities. This study, conducted by SGS INTRON, was commissioned by EuCIA and eight industry association partners.
The webinar will provide further information about the report’s findings. It will be led by Thomas Wegman, who coordinated the study with SGS.
This sustainable solution for EoL composites is available now, and paves the way for new recycling technologies under development.
